British Standards Institute
The British Standards Institute sets the bench mark for security standards in the United Kingdom. Currently Universal Security operates to the following BS standards:
BS 7499:2007 Static Site Guarding and Mobile Patrol Services
BS 7858:2006 Security Screening
BS 7984:2008 Key Holding and response services
Security Industry Authority

The Security Industry Authority manages the licensing of the private security industry as set out in the Private Security Industry Act 2001. Universal Security provides Security Guarding and Keyholding Services under this accreditation. Safe Contractor
Safe Contractor is a contractor accreditation scheme that assesses the health & safety competency of contractors. Since client companies have a legal obligation to ensure that their contractors operate in a safe way. There is therefore a need to assess contractors health & safety arrangements, and increasingly this is being carried out through Safe contractor.
Contractor Plus
Universal Security has achieved Contractor Plus Certification in recognition of reaching Health and Safety standards set out by Contractor Plus
